When clearly batman is awesome, And superman is an over publicised moron?

Not that I want to start a debate here, But people. Anyone could be superman. Give a man a few powers and he's superman. Can anyone be batman? Give a man thousands of expensive toys, And will he know how to use them? Will he be Ninja? Will he be anything but a guy with lots of junk? No. Superman is clearly a loser. And He would lose in a fight to Batman.. Batman can get Kryptonite without blinking. One rock, and the Supe's is down.

He doesn't. The most recent ranking of the top 100 selling comics, has Batman at #20 and Superman at #26

A lot of people read comics for escape. Because Superman is so completely indestructible, he offers a better means of escape and a greater degree of fantasy than Batman does. If you're identifying with the characters, being Superman is like getting rich through winning the lottery, while being Batman is like working hard your entire life to build a company to earn your wealth. The Superman route is just a lot easier.
But I'm with you. Batman is a much more interesting character who offers writers far more potential to develop interesting stories. You almost always know what's going to happen in a Superman story.

Superman owns Batman! Superman was the first true comic book superhero and paved the way for every single superhero we have today, including Batman, Spider-Man, the X-Men, Green Lantern, etc. Plus, he's more fun than Batman and actually has superpowers (Batman has a belt and a car...wooo!). I like Batman, but let's face it, Superman is top dog.

Superman is the one, Batman hides in caves, he's like a closet case. Superman is out there with Lois Lane and working a regular job. He is more the blue collar hero.
