I am a 20/boy,. I am not out at all, but think I am in love with my best friend. Anyway, he doesn't strike me as gay eithe, but we are really close. He even talks about girls a lot. But either way I have been trying to subtley make hints on how I feel, and we have a very touchy-feely relationship. We play ,hit, etc all the time. For the past few weeks everyday we joke which turns into hitting which turns into me jumping on him or him on me, and ends in him holding me in a close position for like 10 minutes that he knows I could get out of if I really tried but I never do, and it always seems like at that point were so close to moving further, but it could just be me because Im the one in love with him. Often I only struggle for a second, the he just holds me. We do this a couple times a day. everyday and I know he has felt how hard he makes me everytime and Im sure he has heard a rumor or 2 about me, but he keeps on at it. I need to know if he is flirting? Should I make a move? How?

Try jumping on him and holding him for 10 minutes (the way he does it to you).

See his reaction. Maybe he is waiting for you to be a bit more agressive.

I'd start by admitting to him that you're gay. Let's see how "best friends" you really are.

Be aware that it's pretty common apparently for guys who haven't come out to anyone to have crushes on their best friends. It's kind of like having a thing for your doctor or therapist. And be aware that turning a friendship into a sexual relationship often doesn't work out and the friendship is lost.

Even if he isn't gay or just doesn't want a sexual relationship with you, the flirting and teasing can be fun when he knows it's seriously turning you on and when you can openly admit that it is. The honesty can be as good as actual sex.

If he is open to being intimate with you, I recommend from experience that you two go out on a romantic date first. Dating is entirely different that just hanging out, and will change the nature of your relationship more gradually than just jumping into bed.

First things first, though: Tell him who you really are.
