I actually have a thoery on that, that could be very plausable, i believe that when we die our soul moves onto another universe parallel to ours and we are reborn as the same person, unless our soul cant move on due to a sudden death, because allmost everything is the same, but you can remember certain things in your dreams when the subconcious mind takes over and we see what happened in the last universe but when we remember our dreams it can influence our dissions which can change completely the path of our lives, we may see strangers in our dreams we would have met if we hadn't had a dream about getting a certain job or somthing and disliking it so not taking it, thats why we dream about strangers.

I do personally believe you can see the future in dreams, as i have had a few expiriences of it myself, but only of what sort of happened, like i dreamt someone was hitting someone and there hand started bleed alot but the other person wasnt hurt, and it was in this area of the playground where there was a big chess board drawn on the ground and benches around it, about 2 weeks later the girl i saw was standing on one of the benches there and fell braking her wrist and it was bleeding alot too, so not exactly as i saw it but the main thing in it was the same, you will find aspects that are the same as real life in your dreams if you look enough or think about it, everyone could learn to interprite the future by looking more closey at thier dreams, for more info just mail me,

I have tried to answer your question, but am having difficulty explaining what I think. In my experience, I seem to have these sort of dreams when I'm feeling vunerable and more sensitive. If it's something bad, then I get an on edge feeling for a couple of days. I feel it's the sub-consiousness telling us there is a future and preparing us for the next step in our lives.

Hope this makes some sense to you.

I don't know how, but it has happened to me as well. Exactly as you described. The only reason I remembered the dreams was that they were so strange and surreal. Later in RL everything down to the last detail came true. I've even met people in dreams and learned their names etc before meeting them in real life. I asked my Mom about it. She said that my grandma had dreams like this too. Maybe its what people used to mean when they talked about having the sight.

I was listening to a dream expert on the radio this morning and the way she described it was that if you have a dream that your legs are heavy, like concrete is on them, it is not forcasting your future, it is showing you something existing in your life, it is saying you are "not moving" or "not meeting your own expectations or goals right now" and it is your minds way of telling you what is going on in your life, how you are feeling. So if you analyze the dreams and do something about it, it could change your future.

It has happened to me before and I still don't get it. I think it can be true, because you can dream about almost anything...there is not limit on what you can dream, if there was then you could probably control them.
P.S. The first answer girl...shut up...you must be the mutant if its never happened to you. Lol

It is a strange and unexplainable one really, I know where you are coming from - I've had deja vu many time in dreams and it's only once they happen thats when I remember that i've previously dreamt it.

Its strange that I can never seem to do it in reverse - dream it realise it and then know what's going to happen next!!

I suggest that you read Sylvia Browne's "The Dream Book" it explains a lot of what happens when we dream, and what our dreams mean (in the reference of seeing the future)

i dont think it has anything to do with time.
different people will have different reasons for it depending on their beliefs...
but dreams for most people are just an explanation of your subcontious mind in the recent past. so dreams will portay your recent past using different figures and stories - hence the dreams.

for other people, however, they believe in something more. for example christians believe in God and will therefore believe that it might very well be God preparing you for something that is going to happen. its His way of warning you and preparing you mentally for a possible rough time.

other people may also think that our minds are much more powerful than we as people know and things like this may be possible and wen they do happen we dont believe it because we think its not possible. but if people cud our minds power in a more effective way then much more is possible compared to wat we think now. it is believed that humans use less than 10% of their mind power. imagine wat cud b possible if we took propper contol of that power. so some people think that out minds sometimes do a lot more than we think but we dont know its possible.

these are all just things that i have heard. i know wat youre talking about though its happened to me before as well. hope i didnt bore you!

It is a matter of believing in soul or not. Dr Karl Gustav Jung has had many extensive researches on this subject. You can read his books.
