lol..no, really, for me, it's when the answer is HAND WRITTEN (not cut and paste from wikipedia thank you), thoughtful, well thought out, articulated well, and consice.
I also give 10 points to people who are clever, funny, and witty to my funnier questions. I like sarcasm.

When it succinctly answers my question. (Although I myself have guilty of writing long winded answers) Or when it makes me think or laugh. Or when there is none of the above in my opinion and one of the answerers has given me 10 points before, I return the favor. Or when I like the avatar.

when it answers the question and adds more to the answer. The answer isnt the only thing you tell them. When you have the same views as someone. When they just like yours better
