R&B artists sing, Beyonce, Usher, Ne-yo, etc.....
Hip - Hop is a level of Rap almost like poetry to music ( that's the best way I can explain it) The Roots, Common, Mos Def, Talib Kwahli
Rap is more of Tupac, 50 Cent, Nelly
I hope that makes it a lil more clear cuz I am so tired of people saying Beyonce is their favorite Hip Hop artist

RnB is customarily comfortable sensetive beats with making a track. mutually as hip hop and rap are beats with history track mutually as the rapper raps over the beat. RnB singers: Babyface, Day 26, and Rick Martin Rap and Hip Hop: Eminem, Tupac, Twista, Biggie, and Ghostface Killah.

These days there isnt a difference. However in the day R&B stood for Rythm and Blues which was sang mostly by blues singers including B.B King, Muddy Waters and Big Momma Thorton however other artists were considered R & B as well such as Marvin Gaye. Simply R&B is awesome and rap sucks!

on da real my perspec. RnB is more like singing and just that and more about realtionships and love. Hip Hop dancin faster beats, they talk bout realtionships but htey rap also.

r&b is actual singing.....with talent....and more soft beats, softer than hip hip, the singing can be anything
ex. beyonce, aaliyah, keyshia cole, ashanti.
hip hip is more do the rap side. like big loud beats and the rap is aggressive. the attitude is in ur face. this kind of music makes people want to dance more.
ex. 50 cent, 2pac, biggie, lil wayne.
