Yes this is a sign of early pregnancy. I had mine around the same time...it could be implantation cramping. If you've missed your period then I suggest testing.

Ive been having the same problem except I am over a week late for my period. The cramps started around the time my period was due and I still havnt started but the cramps continue. I also think im pregnant not just because of the missed period and cramps but Ive been really tired and I get sick in the morning. Good luck!

This is definitely the time to call your doctor. Explain exactly what is going on with you. Sometimes this happens and everything is fine, your body is just adjusting to being pregnant. Without bloody discharge, you are probably not miscarrying and remember especially if this is a first pregnancy, your uterus has to grow and this is going to be uncomfortable at times and feel like cramps. BUT PLEASE CALL YOUR DOCTOR NOW

I had this feeling in my early pregnancy and the doctor had told me that it was normal. She said that it was because my uterus is streching and that is what causes the cramping. It's ok, if you are still worried then you should ask your doctor. Good Luck and Congrats!!!

I have no idea what causes this but I had a lot of menstrual like pain at the beginning of my pregnancy and my doctor said it was common. I am now 38 weeks pregnant. I would not be too worried but maybe you should mention it to your Dr. just to be sure.

very normal what it is, is the baby has attached itself to your uterus and the little weight that the fetus has is pressing on your body so your body is cramping to make room and get its self ready for the long haul. you are fine just make sure your not lifting anything to heavy right now. try to rest your body as much as possible if the pain is really bad try to use a warm compress to help soothe the muscles as they contract.

it could be implementation of the embryo to the uterus wall. Sometimes this implementation can cause cramps. I have had several cramps myself. i am about 10 weeks now.

yes I did the same thing and just knew I was going to start my period nut never did. It is your uterus stretching in early pregnancy, it happens later on too, scared me to death. but that usually happens in a 1st pregnancy.

All normal girl, just relax. However, if bloody discharge or severe cramping follow, see your doctor asap! :)
