Look to the death rates in nations around the world. I believe that last year there were over 22,000 gun deaths in the US. There were like 500 in Germany. No one can argue Germany is a peaceful nation. That should prove why gun control is neccesary.

You might start by thinking of extreme examples to emphasize whatever point you are trying to make. Would society be safer if there was no gun control and everyone could have all or any weapons they could afford? Or would it be safer if nobody had any weapons at all? It also helps to define what you would mean by "gun control" as well.

Personally, I think a lot of the restrictions that are already in place are positive (waiting periods, concealment laws). Nobody but law enforcement and military needs a handgun; why should anyone else? Nobody but the military needs semiautomatic rifles. Nobody but hunters and farmers need shotguns. What's the purpose of a handgun or a semiautomatic rifle if not to kill other humans?

I'm sure they're not all like this, but everyone I've met that WANTS guns and FEWER restrictions on gun possession is reckless, irresponsible, immature, and unpredictable. And I had that opinion even before I knew their position on guns; not at all someone that I particularly trust with a deadly weapon.

There are no legitimate tips or points, because the constitution clearly says that individuals have the right to own guns.

"The ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box" are the only things that keep a democracy a democracy.

No, to make Guns illegal would only affect those who legally own guns, make them illegal and only those who are Illegal will own them.

We cannot stop a load or shipment of Cocain or pot coming accross our borders, how then are we going to stop Illegal guns, a futile law that will only lead to disaster if it happens.

Gun control only controls people who seek to buy guns legally. Criminals will still have them, those they victimize will be left unarmed. See the constitution, we should never do anything to control our right to bear arms.
