No, they're too hard lol....I'm a biter too, I use the fake ones from the store to help me NOT bite. My nails grow under them, once I get them to a certain length, I take off the fake ones and take care of my real ones. I can grow a great set of nails, then..one breaks, I start biting again, and the cycle repeats...
Good luck :)

i have always bitten my nails too and they v. short and ugly. have had acrylics a few times but had to sign a form to say that if they fell off straightaway then i couldnt have them redone for free as the acrylic nail doesnt adhere as strongly.
mine usually last about 4 or five days before i start gnawing at the edges and then they look worse than before.
who knows, when you see how pretty they look it might encourage you to grow your own!!!GO FOR IT!!
good luck

no i bit mine for years then had acrylic ones which are impossible to bite. When they were removed i never bit my nails again! I'd gotten out of the habit.

You'd bite them out of habit, but presumably they wouldn't break, or would look rubbish when slightly torn. They also wouldn't be edible, so it'd be a tad dangerous.
On that note, don't ever swallow nail clippings! I used to, but then someone I knew got appendicitis because of doing it. That was enough to get me to stop...

One of my clients used to be a severe nail biter but she has had acylics on for about 3 years now and never ever bitten them......bizarre!!
I have another client who comes every two weeks and bites them off every time and has a full set.....?!?!
They are really hard to bite off, but believe me, it can be done
I think basically, if you really want to stop, you will..............
Good luck
BTW - if you do decide to have them, go for sculptured rather than tips.......

Hmm... I dunno... You could try it. Probably not as much at least because they wouldn't feel the same and it would be kinda weird.
