Yes hypnosis is real. you could probably experience it by contacting any phsychiatrist. phsychiatrists are required to haveextensive training in the area of hypnosis. however not all people are good candidates for the procedure. you have to believe that the hypnosis will work. by the way phsychiatrists are very expensive.

Hypnosis is very real and simply a state of deep relaxation where your mind is more open to suggestion. You cannot hypnotize a person against their will, nor can you make someone do things that they really don't want to do, but it can be effective in channeling your internal resources to help you change a behavior you are motivated to change.
Psychiatrists are not trained in hypnosis unless they chose to attend some post-doc training and it is a specialty. Some psychotherapists use it to help people learn to relax and for a variety of other reasons and it is often a piece of NLP (NeuroLinguistic Programming). If you are considering, be sure to seek a reputable practitioner who has training and certification in it. Be wary about using it to try and recover memory for things you are amnestic for as "memories" recovered under hypnosis may often be distorted or inaccurate, though it has been used successfully for this purpose (by crime victims who are sometimes able to recall certain "forgotten" things to assist police in an investigation). Recalling traumatic events via hypnosis is questionable as memory is very malleable.

yes it is! When i was 10 years old i used to be deathly afraid of Balloons. I went to this hypnosis guy and he helped me. Since then i have NEVER been afraid of balloons. After you've been hypnotized once you yourself are actually able to hypnotize yourself and get your brain into this "state of relaxation" to make you not think of that specific thing or item that you are afraid of or if you are going to consider quitting smoking you can go into that state of relaxation and try not think about smoking. For me the guy had me state this phrase over and over again. And your body felt very free. It's a great thing it really relaxes you. I think it is a bit expensive though I'm not 100% sure because i was again only 10 years old at the time. But it really helps! I highly recommend it!

It is real but beware there are many cons who claim they can practice it. A shrink would ususlly be the best person to administer it. If the wrong person administers hypnosis on you you basically allow him/her to controll other aspects of your mental being so be carefull.

Yes it is real. To go to one you have to pay big bucks. There are many books out there to teach yourself hypnosis.

Yes, but you have to be in the right state of mind to be hypnotized...it is all about being able to relax, be open and allow someone to influence you. I think.

If you snap your fingers, I will wake up and tell you.

Hypnosis works the best with bringing out repressed memory.
