This is an old computer windows 98. I use it to keep my embroidery patterns on . Now I can not get in the computer at all. Any Ideas would be helpful.

It might be the keyboard socket, not teh keyboard, that is messed up, if that is the case it might be a little harder for you to fix it. Try cleaning the socket with compressed air, and if it still isn't working I would go to a pc repair shop and see if they can either set up your computer to use a usb mouse ( earlier versions of Win 98 did not have USB support) or put the hard drive from that computer in your new one (I am asuming you have a new computer since you referred to the win98 one as "an old computer")

Download the driver for the keyboard.
This would never solve the problem the problem as you put your keyboard wire in your T.V

could be a sticky button, it a button is stuck down while boot up you get errors, also make sure its plugged into the keyboard spot and not the mouse, it sounds stupid i know but ive seen it!!
