I don't know WHO these reporter people ARE, but let me tell you what happens when you "report" someone. I can speak from experience.
First, your account gets deleted with NO warning, and you dont even KNOW it's deleted until you try to log into your email and it doesn't work and you think for a long time that you're just typing your password in wrong. Then that doesn't work, so then you start thinking you got a hacker into your account. So, you go to the "i forgot my password" screen to see if you can get it sent to you. Then, it will take you a page asking you if you've ever used a credit card with yahoo for account verification, if you say "no", then , if your account has been deleted, it will take you to a screen saying your account has been deactivated by Yahoo! Customer Care.
So, then you write to customer care, asking WHY your account was deleted, WHAT terms of service violation you violated, and how to get your account back. Since, in it's deactivation, they deleted your ENTIRE account, your yahoo email, your yahoo messenger, your yahoo answers account, EVERYTHING!
Oh, and by the way, the people responsible for deactivating your account can't be reached by phone, so you can't speak to a live human being about this issue, you can ONLY get ahold of them through email.
So, you get the email that says your account is not eligible for reinstatment. Never mind that Yahoo! has caused you to lose important buisiness email in your yahoo account and all your contacts and addresses on your yahoo messenger list. They don't care.
So, you send the email back asking again, WHY and under what circumstance was your account deleted. They only send you a stupid, automated email back, just saying that it was a terms of service violation, and that Yahoo! in it's sole discretion has the right to remove your account and that the information is confidential unless ordered to release the information under law. Lovely huh?
So, basically, anyone can report someone for ANY reason, even if they so much as just get their panties in a wad over a question, and then Yahoo! (without ever "investigating" s**t ) will delete your account and give you NO reason as to why, or tell you how to go about getting it reactivated. You just lost your yahoo answers level, all your contacts on your messenger list, and your email account.
And like I said, they will just deactivate your account with no warning. So, you have no time to transfer any of your information over before this happens.
So, yeah, thanks you f**king reporters for making all our lives that much more stressful and frustrating. Maybe we should all report YOU!
