lenovo as it give more facility and looks where as dell are just nice but you can also buy compaq or hp better than the above.

Depends on what your looking to do with the laptop. My preference is Dell for the pure performance of the laptop but you sacrifice battery life. Lonovo most have a longer lasting battery. Both good laptops.

Dell can be configured to suit your requirements. I'm using a Dell Inspiron with Core 2 Duo processor...
My main reason for choosing Dell was the outstanding customer service they provide...
Lenovo's Thinkpad range is worth the money; their normal range of computers (3000 something) is a total waste. My friends who bought Lenovo sold their computers off at quarter the price they bought it for and got themselves Thinkpads - which were very expensive in comparison but really worth the extra buck

Lenovo would be better since it uses Intel Core2Duo while Dell mostly uses the older Intel COre or the AMD Athlon 64x.
