Is it ok to cry in front of someone you dont know?

I cryed in front of this group of people that I dont know, now I dont want to go back to that one place. I need help with this?

I often wonder why we are so afraid or so shameful of crying in front of others. I am a very emotional person and used to feel ashamed to cry infront of others because I felt they would think I was weak.. However it's really the opposite, it takes a lot of strength to cry infront of other people and not care. We all cry.. sometimes people think others cry for attention but I know I would never do something like that. It is just sad that people have to place judgements on our natural reactions in life.

Be strong-- don't be afraid to express your emotions.

Girl, you go right back to that place and hold your head high. There is nothing wrong with crying, we all do it. If it makes u feel better then take a friend with you. As a matter of fact I was in the same situation last week and got very emotional in front of complete strangers. I was embarrassed at first but I talked with my friends about what happened and the more I talked the better I felt. I admit I don't like to cry in front of someone I don't know but I did and its not big deal. Most of us have done it. So u are fine. No need to worry.

NO, it is never OK to cry in front of strangers. Unless you got your foot cut off or something.

Now that you have done it though, you can't avoid the place where it happened. You have to go back and face it. You won't want something like this haunting you for hte rest of your life.

well i think that if youre comfortable crying in public..more power to you.. because a lot of people dont cry in public. i personally think that it is okay to cry in public b/c i do it all the time. like if youre feelin sad. dont just wait till you get where youre comfortable to cry..let it out. and i wouldnt be all embarassed or anything b/c maybe when you go back to that place then maybe they be like how r u? are you feelin any better and make you feel better about crying, then you'll feel better. =]

well - depends. if they're civil, respectable people...they felt with ya. if they sneered and jeered at ya...then I don't blame you for not wanting to see them again.

it's OK, in front of anyone, at anytime. most people will be right there with a shoulder to cry on or an arm to put around ya.

happened to me a couple weeks ago actually. i was at this meeting and i started crying ( i won't go into details ), well this girl (who i didnt know) just came up to me real quiet sat down next to me and put her arm around me.

most people would do just that.

Crying is a catharsis.

We are all human. I would go in with your head held high. You have nothing to be ashamed of. We all cry, we all feel pain the same way, and we all have emotions that we cannot control.

i think that it is OK to cry in front of people that you don't know i have done it before nothing happened it was perfectly normal i saw a girl crying before it made me feel sad inside but it is perfectly normal to cry, trust ME

yes it's okay i'm pretty sure they have cried before in front of some one.and if they did see u cry ignore them.it's not any of there biasness why u are cry unless they ask u why u cry then u could tell them.if u talk about your problems it could help.

A female cries for different reasons: Joy, anger, sadness, etc.... Go ahead you have nothing to hide and crying is not a crime.

Well you don't know them and maybe they don't know you.It really wouldn't matter if you go back where you met them.They'll not react that much,they'll just say oh she's the lady who was crying.Well thats how they'll recall you but when they'll see you normal,happy they really have no reason to react.
