Trade Mauer/McCann (probably McCann) for a better first basemen. Swisher overperformed last year, he is an ok player, but there are far better. With McCann you can probably get a Konerko/Delgado type player, something around that. Then trade Swisher or Cuddyer (since you have a surplus of 1b) for a middle of the pack closer. I strongly suggest Takashi Saito. He had one of the lowest opponent batting averages among closers, just behind Joe Nathan. He had over 100k's which is solid from the closer position.

If you don't want to trade for a closer, then look on FA for the usual suspects that are up for a job. (Weathers, Donnelly, Piniero, Tankersley, Torres, McClung)

As for how good your team is, I'd say if your league has 8 or less teams, then its a decent team, but nothing special. If its 10-12, it is an above average/very good team. 14-16, a fantastic team. 16+ (you are lying).

Its not too shabby. I would try to upgrabe your Infield. 2b. 3b and possibly an upgrade in 1b would be great. maybe trade your free catcher for some of that help. I would drop Bradley outright and try to pick up a A Gordan, C Young, a R Shealy for some young talent.

Your starting pitching looks nice but you need some help on the closeing side. Maybe drop Garland or Lilly for a closer such as (tankersley, Torress, or who ever wins the tampa bay job)

Your team looks pretty decent. I give it a 7 outta 10. You will make the playoffs but you will need some help in winning. (oh and if bonds has a hot streak in the begining of the year trade him Asap)

Trade for another decent closer and keep your eye on the FA list for a 3rd when the season starts. Then you'll have a decent chance at the title.

Also trade Dunn to some sucker in your league who needs HRs. You're in decent enough shape for HRs and Dunn gives you zero chance of finishing in the top 2 or 3 for BA. Couldn't hurt to grab another base stealer just in case Rollins goes down... You could likely get quite a bit in a trade for McCann.

You need another closer and a little bit better rotation other then that wouldn't change much about your lineup. As for pitchers the only keepers I see are Zito and Sheets. The rest could give you issues unless Papelbon struggles as a starter and returns to a closer. You need pitching.

This is a really good roster, probably because there are very few teams in your league. You have a lot of people w/ trade value (McCann, Cuddyer), but I bet other teams in your league are similar to greatness as yours. Not bad, but w/ trades and wire pickups, the team will be better later in the season.
