There's a silence, on the Front Lines.
You can cut it with a knife.
You can stay and take your chances?
Or can run and save your life.
One side is retreating and the other's runnin' scared.
And the Drums of War are beating,
Even though it's undeclared
Both sides say they're winning.
Both sides know they're losing.
Neither one knows what they're fighting for
In the queit little places, you can see the little Faces.
Huddled right outside the Bedroom Door
Prayin' for an end, to this Uncivil War.

They're just fightin' off the Hunger.
Just to keep from goin' under
But there ain't no winners, in this Uncivil War
So they're turning on eachother
`Cause there really ain't no winners, anymore
Just Victims, in this Uncivil War"

This song is about the fate of Children of Divorcing Parents. But I see it as a signal that Our Elected Officals, are causing a whole of trouble for the American People.

Elected officials don't speak for the American people. They speak for big business and oil companies!
