Ok, so over a month ago i asked has anyone ever had two 2/3day light periods in one month- after taking the morning after pill. Since then.. I have had no sign of a period coming. I have taken a pregnancy test, it was just a normal cheap one- when i looked after a mintue, nothing had happened! i left it for another, but stil nothing. so i tried it again and it finally came up negative. Since then i still havnt had a period.. i'm worried if that test was wrong or something else is wrong with me!?
Any advice on this would be a great help thanks! xxxx

You give no indication of your age, so based on the assumption that your either in your late teens or early twenties, I can offer you the following advice.
It is NORMAL for our monthly cycle to fluctuate, this can be through the influence of medication (i.e. antibiotics) or other factors such as stress. Just consider this, it's a known fact that when 2 women co-habit, they usually end up having their period at the same time of the month as one another!
As for the pregnancy test, it works by detecting a specific hormone that is only produced by your body during pregnancy. Most 'over the counter' tests are pretty good these days, but for real assurance you should make an appointment to see your GP's practice nurse, she will also be able give you some advise on options that may help you to regulate your period.
Sometimes going on the pill helps as it controls the hormones to the extent that you only have a period at the end of each monthly cycle.
However, if your trying for a baby, I would recommend keeping a diary to reflect your period pattern, the most likely time to conceive is around day 14 of your cycle, calculating from the first day of your last period.
GOOD LUCK

I would go to your doctor, home tests are very reliable these days 99% so there may be an underlying problem if you havent had a period or it may just be that by taking the morning after pill this had somehow caused an irregularity.
Fibroids for instance can cause irregular periods,PID as well, the best thing is to go see your doctor just to make sure all is well.

Do not think it is anything to worry about. Maybe you have changed your lifestyle or diet or perhaps come off the pill. Could be a load of reasons but if you are worrying - as you appear to be - go and see your doctor. Maybe you have taken just a few too many morning after pills and need to take things easy for a while and let your body re-align itself.

well you know a doctor is best but to help the stress no one said that morning after pills are accurate. your body may be still trying to figure out what it's going to do. there may be a chance that pregnancy is your destiny or there may be a chance that's not. if you can notice the tell-tell signs of pregnancy then you know but give yourself at least another week unless something dramatically change for worse and go see the DOC!

Taking the morning after pill messed up my cycle for about 3 months. But you should go and see your doctor because other things can mess up your cycle too.

If you are that concerned, go have a blood test done either by your doc, or the local family planning clinic. Then you can stop worrying and go forward with whatever is applicable depending upon the result.
