It's a given that blacks in Africa can't run their own countries. Every African run country eventually becomes a dictatorship run by corrupt savages that proceed to discriminate not only against white people, but against blacks, too.
Take look at Zimbabwe - currently undergoing a crisis that has countries evacuating their citizens (way to go Robert Mugabe). Because of Mugabe's sociopathic criminality, Zim is in the throes of history's first man-made famine. But what gets missed is that he stole much more land from black farmers than from their white counterparts.
South Africa is now in the first stages of its man-made famine, as land is stolen from people because of the color of their skin.

However, once a goverment legislates land-theft from white people, it reserves the right to steal it again from black people.

Don't the mostly ignorant masses in what used to be South Africa realise this, or are they content to live as starving savages at the mercy of the state forever?

Can't anyone come up with something other than calling me a racist?
These people are savages because they condone the rape of children, amongst other things, not because the color of their skin.
And yes, the former apartheid government practised savagery against the black majority, too.
That particular quality has no skin color.

Am I mistaken, or is not a forum pertinent to matters pertaining to South Africa?

Bull III - I agree with your take on Malan. Aside from his Communist world view, he's just not very bright, either.
According to him, it's better to give land to people because of who their ancestors were, and that subsequently everyone starves, than to leave the land with its RIGHTFUL OWNERS, and everyone has a full belly at night.

Well, I just heard that they expropriated land from a church on Classic FM news. So, if they can steal land from a church they can steal it from anyone.

Also, after suddenly remembering; I saw an insert on Carte Blanche or Third Degree, can't remember which about 4 or 5 months ago. It was about an entire section of land somewhere in KZN which was in the process of being redistributed to some amateur farmers. In the segment they interviewed the farmers who included a professional black farmer who actually bought the farm without any government aid. His farm was included in the group of farms that were going to be redistributed and he faced the same fate as the other farmers who happened to be white. This, simply because he could not trace his lineage to the tribe who was instituting the land claims action.

Someone else on this forum may have more information but, I'll be doing some more research and see if I can find the details around this.

Got it! Here is the link:

http://www.carteblanche.co.za/Display/Display.asp?Id=3079

and from the article:

William Mabunda is a black farmer who bought his farm in 1999 for R350 000. He's just recovered from his wife's death, and now he's facing another crisis.

William Mabunda: 'They said to me this is a land claim, you have to go.'

William worked as an electrician most of his life. His dream to build a training facility for electricians and live the farm life has been shattered. And communication with the land affairs department is so bad, he's not even sure why it's happening.

William: 'Even now I don't understand why it's like that. Why they do that to me? I'm not going to go to them, they want my farm they must come to me. Government destroyed my dreams, destroyed myself, and is destroying the generations coming behind me!'

So, it's not a case of if they will steal land from black people after redistributing it, they are already doing it. Right now.

The way I understand the new Land Act they are about to introduce is that all land must first be offered to the ANC who will decide whether to buy or not and pay a "market related" price. The history of Africa tells us that Blacks are subsistence farmers at best or they just let the land go to wreck and ruin. So the scenario would be that the ANC through land grabs sells it to the Blacks at a considerable price and a few years later when it is run into the ground they re- buy it for next to nothing. This is then repeated so it is a form of constant income.
The problem is the ignorant masses will never be able to change it through the Ballot box because the ANC will just fiddle the vote a la Mugabe.South Africa is stuck with the ANC for ever and a day and it will require an external intervention ( similar to the CIA with the Nationalist Party ) to change things. There can never be an internal uprising from say the Afrikaaner because what is left of them is getting old or have left and they are being disarmed. Maybe a good old fashioned tribal conflict may happen e.g. Zulu vs Xhosa but whatever the ordinary folks will be caught in the middle. The US made a total fcuk up of South Africa when they stabbed Whites in the back after all the cooperation in Angola etc. They had a friend potentially better than Israel and they may yet regret giving up their foothold in Africa.

You know the thing about this is that if you go back far enough, not even the black tribes were ever resident in any one place over any of the Southern African land - as far as i can make out they were nomads who moved as there cattle needed grazing - the people with the most right to land were the Hottentot and the strandlooper tribes. They lived along the coast but no one was inland permanently situated.

then the sailors came and moved the strandlooper and Hottentot out and slowly moved northwards and encountered african tribes moving southward.

No one had historical claim to the land. its all made up to suit the current regime so that they can keep the rumbling masses silent for a little longer.

All very, very stupid though - no food because of bad land management will mean starvation and even louder grumblings.

Nothing good can come of it.

How can you call the re-distribution of land land-theft? Is it normal in any country and good for the stability of it when 9% of a population (and the race group who is responsible for apartheid) owns 95%+ of the land? Land is a sensitive issue and you need to respect communities who want to live where their forefathers lived. Yes, when land are given back to the rightful owners, the standards of farming will drop (considerably?), but we are talking here about human dignity etc. People want to live where they once lived - even if it means they will suffer economic hardship. We can only hope that the government does help upcoming farmers. What's also encouraging is that certain farmers are helping these black farmers - another sign that reconciliation in SA does take place. One last thing.. 30% of land will be in the hands of black people in the next 8 years, so I cannot see how we'll face famine because of that. And please stop using the term 'savages'. You know people see it as racist (even if you don't mean in it in racist sense), so stop using it then if people misinterpret it.

Quote- "Once land is stolen from whites"
Technically it was never your to begin with and it was that mentality that set life up to be what is in South Africa today.

Quote- "These people are savages because they condone the rape of children, amongst other things, not because the color of their skin."

What about people in other countries who do the same thing?
I hope you use that same word for those people too...Including Caucasions.
I won't attempt to answer your question because you have basically shot down everyone who answered the question; with a opinion different from yours. I also won't call you a racist, although it seems like you are and your blind to the fact.

Malan and Bombastic; In some ways I agree with your answers.

I agree Brad, look at the greedy thieves at the helm of the ANC today, Sexwale, Ramaphosa, Zuma (to mention but a few).
They have one thing in common, they are all fraudsters of the highest order who should have been prosecuted and imprisoned years ago for theft, fraud, embezzlement, corruption, terrorism, the list is endless, but rather than that, the ANC broadcasts them to the ignorant leftist liberals in SA and the West as "black pioneers" in the business world, how pathetic, not one of them is capable of making 25 cents without the governments racist policies of BEE and AA which they have abused beyond recognition.
They steal from employee Trusts, the taxpayer, their own business partners and now tell me that they wont steal land from their own ignorant political following.
I think its time for Thabo and his cronies to take the begging bowl out of the cupboard and start polishing.

You are telling the world a lot about yourself by calling human beings savages because they are black. Did you think white South Africans were savages when they exploited or killed blacks there? When apartheid kept millions of black South Africans living in sub-human conditions, without any rights, were you as concerned about justice as you are now obsessed over land possession and good leadership on the African continent? I don't know why you would think it's decent and acceptable for you or anyone else to make the decision about who is worthy of land ownership and who is not. Who died and made you God? If I had diamonds and gold in my backyard and I had limited education or failed to recognize their value, or didn't care about their value, would that make it right for you or anyone else to attack me and take over my yard to steal it from me because you wrongly believe that you have a greater capacity to appreciate fine things? While it may be true that many African leaders have done a grave injustice to their fellow countrymen, and their greed should not be tolerated, why is it that people such as yourself remain blind to the fact that there are just as many greedy and unscrupulous leaders in other non-black countries. Furthermore, your question is self-serving. I don't see where you have any real interest in the proper administration of the law and order as it relates to people of color in Africa. Instead you are trying to justify the continuation of oppression and injustice because of your own biases and greed. I say, if black South Africans or any Africans choose to defecate on all their diamonds and gold and never look for a dollar out of it, then it is their birthright to do so.
