No Birth Control is 100% effective, Save abstinence. Most BCP's are 99%, Meaning if you had sex 100 times, you'd get pregnant once... Although the odd's are you would be okay. Best plan? Make him wear protection, and take your pill. There's always a chance, but it'll be much less likely.

nope, the only a hundred% smart technique of prevention of being pregnant is abstinence.... The pill is better than ninety 9% smart, yet once you're in a protracted term dating ( or you're purely a participant ) and you're having intercourse frequently, then that a million in a hundred threat nevertheless seems daunting. whether, whilst blended with yet another technique, including a barrier technique ( ie, a condom ) the probabilities of being pregnant pass way down. as, whether each and each technique has a a million in a hundred threat of failing, the probabilities of them failing on a similar time are minuscule. TL:DR? Double up on shielding strategies and you'd be ok.

They are 99% effective. I know of a lot of women who have gotten pregnant on the pill or the nuvaring. Basically they say, out of every 100 women who take the pill or who are on the nuvaring, 2 will get pregnant. My best friend is 1 of those 2 (she was on the nuvaring).

true, you can get pregnant on the pill or patch or IUD or condoms. nothing is 100% safe except abstinence. I got pregnant on the patch had been on it for 6 months and didn't miss or anything.
