I'm 25 and me and my boyfriend will be going. I would prefer something on the beach or within walking distance.

I live not far from Ocean City (which, being a dry town, is probably not a good option). Sea Isle (if you're going to the South Jersey shore) is the party town, but most people rent houses, which are usually close to gone by now if you're planning for the summer.

Not trying to be funny, but unless you're going for the casinos, I'd suggest going to Ocean City, Maryland. Cleaner beaches, nicer shops, and a friendlier atmosphere. From my personal experience. It's really only a couple more hours down the road.
