I found a legit car audio wholesale company and they require a tax certificate. I plan on selling on ebay. I won't have a retail location. What type of permits do I need? Do I just need a resale tax certificate?

- First, yes you will need to get a resale tax certificate issued from the state.
- Second, check with your local government to determine if any zoning laws will apply.
In most cases if you don't have customers coming to your home you will be ok.

I'm not sure but you may need to buy a LLC for that type of company. Low Liability Company. This will give you a tax id#.

Recommend you go to the Florida website (below) to identify what various permits you might need. click on business when you get there, then research the sections on business licenses, etc. and starting a business in Florida.
Doesn't look as if you need additional licenses, but recommend you research.
