I am going through the same problem right now. I called a service that my doctor recommended that specializes in medication safety during pregnancy yesterday and they recommended Chlortrimeton or Benadryl for the sneezing and drainage (as long as you are beyond your first trimester, which you are) and Tylenol for the headache.
They recommended to NOT take anything with a decongestant because they work by constricting your blood vessels, which could have the same effect on your placental blood vessels causing restricted blood flow to your baby. Instead, use a humidifier, Vicks Vaporub, drink plenty of water, and use a saline nasal spray or a saltwater nasal spray.

Some doctors say you can take sudafed. But I'd call the nurse line too, just to verify that they don't have any concerns. My doc told me not to take cough drops that have menthol in them because that's a type of alcohol. Also, try putting a steam humidifier in your room. You can take Tylenol too. Good luck!

There's lots of OTC stuff available..but since you are pregnant it's best to check with your physician so as not to cause harm to your child. If I were pregnant I wouldn't chance anything unless the doctor suggested or prescribed something. Good Luck

my doctor told me to take regular strength sudifed (ask your own doctor first) that didn't work so he gave me a prescription for clarion like 6 pills only, (that was when it was still a prescription) remember pregnant women usually have sinus problems during pregnancy, just ask your doctor, you can even call the office and ask them, they will tell you what is safe for the baby and how much you can take, my advice is 7 years ago and alot has changed in medication,

This is really something you need to ask your doctor. It's not good for you to take advice on this website about that because someone could tell you to take something and that could harm your child. Either call your doctor or talk to a pharmacist.

I dont' know what kristina got a thumbs down... Any woman who has kids knows that Tylenol is the one thing that you can take without worrying... And tylenol cold & allergy is your best bet. You may want to ask your doctor but that is what i took with the two of mine....

DEFINITELY discuss this with your physician. They go to school to learn these things. People here (and elsewhere, any "lay people") may have good intentions but may not have a good basis or information for the advice they impart.
Your health and that of your soon-to-be child is too important to risk on the opinions/advice of strangers whom you don't know nor do you know where/how they came about the answers they give you.
Take care of you.

Your Dr. would probably suggest REG. Sudafed. But call Him/her just to make sure. Good Luck.
