I doubt anyone has survived 5 years of torture. He would have died or confessed long before.
And I do actually have much better ways of torturing a devout Muslim than water-boarding and have no doubt that the intelligence services are well aware of them. Just use your brain and I'm sure you will come up with them.
I am sorry for you but this confession is the final nail in the coffin of the conspiracy theories. It is dead and now should be buried, allowing those who suffered loss to move on and not have to listen to any more of the insensitive rubbish that has been going around.

Water boarding is not torture and if a person is given that treatment then they usually confess with in the first few minutes, not years. I know you feel sorry for the murdering terrorists that want to kill you and your family, but would they extend the same compassion for you? It's not like we are really torturing them or cutting their heads off on the internet.
