or would they just constantly moan about the food you gave them and order you around?

I can also imagine my little cat whining constantly after fighting with her brother, "muuuuuuuum, he hit me, muuuum tell him off"

My cat does that anyway! lol, I'd love it if he could talk though, I bet he'd try to take over the world. If my cat could talk I imagine he'd be a little like Stewie from Family Guy :-)

my siamese almost can talk and he always complains of not getting enough attention-he's very clingy and crys like an alarm clock till I put him on my lap.He would complain about the food cause right now he has the red dry food he hates and he always pauses before eating and looks at me like he's not going to enjoy it. It would be nice when he wasnt complaining because he loves me sooo much and I know in his eyes I'm nearly perfect (if it werent for the red food)

All my pets talk! All have different languages and most do it with body language (My cats are the most vocal and swear a lot) Anyone who has a pet knows that they order us around all the time! They decide when feeding time is!!!!!!!!!and you know if they don't like it as they won't eat it! Only humand are silly enough to eat something they don't like to be polite!

My pet CAN talk, actually. I have a quaker parrot who says over 100 words and phrases. Some of them are meaningful (For a few examples, he says, "Wanna take a bath?" when he wants to take a bath, and "Meow" when he wants to eat what I'm eating (long story) and he says, "Here's your water!" when i give him his water.)

It's really interesting when sometimes he surprises me. One day he was saying, "What's a cat say?" and my other parrot (now deceased) was answering, "Quack!" because he only knew 3 words and "meow" wasn't one of them. Finally the quaker said, "No, no! What's a DUCK say, quack. What's a cat say, meow."

Much of what he says is imitation, but parrots can also say things in context. (Look up Alex and Dr. Irene Pepperburg.)

I am a pet owner 2 dogs, 2 siamese cats. I sometimes would like them to talk. But just think what they might or would be like if they could talk. They probaly wouldn't eat what we give them unless it was human food (Expensive).

no sir she runs the house as it is imigine asking if its ok to eat the mouse she has just caught.
I go to all the trouble of catching my own food instead of all that rubbish you try to feed me and you won't even let me come and eat it in OUR BED. I know i am dripping wet thats because its raining outside and i can't get dry, or the mouse may escape then you will scream and get pset I am only thiking of you.
so no a miow is suffice, and besides we get along just fine as it is,

My dog does talk in his own language and can certainly make me know what is wanted or otherwise. No need to make a sound, his looks say it all and he can order me around if I let him. He is loved to bits.

I would absolutely love it if my dog talked to me. We'd probably talk to each other all day long! However, he does make it clear what he wants and feels like even without talking.

Yea sometimes I wish they could talk because then they could tell my parents off. Also, so I can tell them to not dig because it's risking their stay at our house. Lol

I can think of nothing lovelier. Then at least of they have something wrong or are in pain they can tell you about it so that you can (hopefully) get the problem sorted.
