My last year has been very hard for me. Ive had to make so many life changing decisions. Most days I feel like Ive made the wrong ones. But now that I look back (on at least one occasion) I can't really recall actually making the decision. Is there a reason for that? I believe in God, I'm not really religious, but I believe in Him, and I believe everything happens for a reason. I find myself begging God, and the people involved, for what I want to happen. but in most cases, it don't happen that way. Are ALL of our choices in life premade, and if so, why do we, as humans, agonize over them? Thanks

Yes, you have a choice about how to react to a situation, and what your experience of the situation is, about which directions to go, etc.
That said, it is also true that all possibilities exist at once. Your every day awake consciousness compared to God consciousness is like a cell in a body. You only experience a small part of what's happening, while God is the sum of all experience. Things may not happen the way you choose because a part of you that you aren't aware of at the time (the part of you that knows oneness with God) may be choosing something that is for your spiritual growth.
Realize though, that you are bigger than any situation or circumstance that you could possibly find yourself in, and can rise above it. Haven't you risen above, or gotten past, everything that's happened to you so far?
Remember: This too shall pass. It's the only advice that's always true.

I believe that god dose have a plan for all of us and yes we do have choices ...hears how I see it ...a situation is put before you,you have a choice to react to that situation but i believe that with every decision you make there is a path that it was meant to lead you down I believe that the whole story as already written but you are the one to chose in witch direction you go ,,try this when a hard time comes your way sit in it for just a moment pitcher your self at a cross road you can go straight ahead ...take a left...take a right...or turn around and go back to where you started it's al up to you look over your options and remember most of all you can only chose what or how you handle something you have no control over what or how others might handle the situation..good luck..god bless

Sounds like you have your decision-making set to default. We definitely are in control of the choices in our life. You can choose to go workout right now or sit on the couch. I believe there is an overall Divine Plan and God would love us all to play a part in it, but it is up to you whether you want to run your life or just let it happen. Also, agonizing over choices is such a waste of time and energy. It's like driving around and around looking for a good parking spot, when you could just pull into the first one you see and be in the store already. Good luck.

The tough yet thrilling part about being human is that we get to make our own choices. Almost none of them are made for us, at least not the ones that make us unique

Someone once said that we are the sum of our choices.

The nice thing is, that with many decisions you can choose differently once the decision comes before you again. That's called learning. It is highly recommended.

Those who say that all our decisions are predetermined are really saying they don't want to take responsibility for their own lives.

FATE IS A COP-OUT.

i think it is possible to be in control of our lives and also believe in fate and god. but here's the thing....we can be in control of our lives but not other people's lives and not the outside world. and because we are constantly intertwined with everything in the world, our decisions are affected and affect everything around us. so yes, to some extent we control our lives and make decisions but only as far as it can sorta "fit" into the world and everyone's else's choices/decisions.

but we are indeed responsible for our actions and for the consequences of our actions. everything we do affects something, even if it is in a very small way.

we, as humans, agonize over tough decisions because we don't ever know for sure how it will all turn out. and that unknowing is what gives us anxiety.

I believe we have options we take into consideration first, take a look at what the results or impact of the options, make your decision based on the results and the impact of the choice you make. I think sometimes we just react without thinking! I wouldn't stress too much over decision s in your life If your God has empowered your being you have help! Trust in yourself and I belive in your God withen you. Have faith and believe in yourself. Accept your mistakes and remember to awknowledge that your neighbor is dealing with the same struggles regardless of their social status (love)

Decision time means your at a crossroad in your life.
The only two choices you have are, go to the right or is it the left.
The are certain consequences, not necessarily the same, depending upon which way you turn.
Since it's your choice which way you turn we have what is called freewill.
It may be that the consequences are predetermined, but the choice of paths is still yours.

choices are decided for us by the government and soceity. if people didnt care what other people thought of them then they would be more happy and do what they want. if the government dint rule this country more and more with an iron fist then people wouldnt be so afraid to be themselves. things would be so much different if people just were allowed to make there own choices and let each other punish. People should not be afraid of there government. Government should be afraid of there people. yea thats from a movie but its the truth. sure we make choices as law abiding human beings but will they really ever hurt us that badly.

Everything happens under the law of attraction, which means that we attract what we focus on, whether we are aware of what we are focusing on or not. Odds are we are not aware of what we focus on so most events appear to fall upon us accidently. There are no accidents.
I once screamed to God at the top of my psychic lungs, ^ I don`t want to live! ^ From that moment on I began to really live. Now many years later I am grateful for every moment and getting more grateful every moment. The subject was TO LIVE, whether I wanted it or not was totally meaningless. Get it ?

You ALWAYS have choices...but sometimes FATE comes along and changes the entire slate so that you may suddenly find yourself with an entirely different set of choices...the previous options having been wiped out.
