I have a pair of jeans from "The Limited"
They are dark blue, with silver "things" going down the side of each leg. It's hard to explain what the silver things are, but they are not rhinestones, and they are not as sparkly as rhinestones. It kind of looks like metal gems.
Anyway, what color shirt and shoes should I wear with these jeans? Could I get away with black, or do I have to find a shirt that has the same similar metal things on it?

Dark wash jeans look best with a dark top. Black would be fine, but it also depends on the cut. A plain shirt with jeans that sound like that wouldn't work. Try a cinched dark colored top or something with special, like satin-like. It would look best

Black would be okay, but try pairing it with a really neat vintage T for that kinda rocker look, thats hot. Any shirt will do just as long as it don't compete for attention with your pants. If you're not terribly into the rocker type hot chick look, pair it with a solid shirt (preferably dark magenta, navy or even black) and very simple jewelry like a silver chain necklace with a simple pendant or a cute silver cuff bracelet. No more shiny! Black or just about any other color that works with the dark denim would be good. I'm wondering what a white button down shirt would look like with those jeans. Keep it non-sparkly and you should look great.

Don't try to match a shirt to your jeans because blue is a neutral and anything will go with it.
Try to match your shirt to your eyes and skintone. Wearing contrasting colors will make your eyes pop. This general rule is for clothes, and also eye shadows:
Blue eyes - wear browns or blues (brown shadows, blue clothes)
Green eyes - purple
Brown eyes - blue shadows, any rich color for a shirt (red, blues, yellow - it will depend on your skin tone).
I have green eyes, so I wear a lot of green and purple, and it works great. Rich colors if you have pale or fair skin. You can pull off pastels if you have darker skin because it will contrast.

You should find a shirt and shoes that really comfort you. Don't try to buy some fancy expensive item to impress some one.
I would probably go with silver shirt with silver shoes!!

White T shirt and brown simple shoes (since the jeans get all the sparks! )

You could get by with black, but something medium yellow with light or dark blue designs (not too gaudy) would look great!

You can get away with black because black, silver and jeans go very nicely together.

I would most definitely wear black, and avoid anything with similar metal things on it or you might begin to look like something from a sci-fi movie.

Dont do that it's much to hard. Go with the black or compare all your other shirts to it and see which one looks the best. Dont go shoppinng and make life hard JUST WING IT! It will suprie you I promise!
