best way to fix problems like this that could be about 50,000 differnt things is to start with the cheapest solution, then work your way up. start with a fuel injector cleaner. then fuel filter. then air filter. then spark plugs, then wires. one of those things should cure it.
if you have a check engine light on, go to autozone. otherwise try what i said above.

If it seems sluggish from a take-off.it cold be a restricted cat-converter.have someone loosen exhaust pipe at manfold to see if it performs better.

I would start by filling it with the highest octane fuel and adding an injector cleaner to your full tank. All too often, dirty fuel injectors can retard performance.
