It depends on how interested you are to develope your skills. I had the same problem, then I started reading a lot, reading books, reading articles, reading news papers and at the same time talk to others, this will certainly help you develop your skills... all the best...

Read, read and read... books by pg wodehouse demonstrate the english language at its best - try and get a few of them
watch sitcoms like friends, seinfeld, frasier etc. doing that will help you understand the flow and subtlety of language...
keep a journal - that's difficult i know but it helps improve your written communication skills.
