No, but I know someone who did. They're commonly known in the trade as 'wetlands' and consist of a series of three ponds, all draining into one another, containing different plants in each one which perform the same function as a sewage treatment. They had a large garden, but the chap did it himself (being trained in it).

No I haven't, but it is something I would totally do if I had the right conditions. I watched a programme on the TV once about it - I think it was "Selling Houses Abroad" maybe - and they set one up to filter the waste from a Sceptic Tank. Is there nothing on t'internet about it...............
