yup,yes I have. I make a big pot of pinto beans with ham and ham bones in it for flavor, with cornbread on the side, and it feeds me for a week. I also like greenbean casserole with it. And a tall galss of fresh milk. I come from the Ozark Mountains, where the Beverly HillBillys originated from, and it's pretty much a food staple here.

Oh yes! My mother has this pork and bean soup recipe that started from a simple can of beans and evolved in to a big pot of beans with bacon in it, I don't know rest of what goes into it though.

wow, you're going to put on a lot of weight with that meal. A tiny pile of beans and weiners plus bun or hamburger plus bun are enough for a meal.

Oh, num...I could live off of pinto beans. My family disagrees, though, so I am....sigh...alone with my beans most of the time. And alone a few hours after too...if you get my "drift". ('scuse me)
