I look at a picture of Rosie O'Donnell. That face scares them away.

this sounds odd,but works. plug up both ears with your fingers,have someone hold your nose shut,and drink a glass of water or something for as long as you can. if simply holding your breath doesn't work this will. also - not thinking about the hiccups,like getting distracted will work,but is difficult.

When I have hiccups, I punch someone in the face. Doesn't get rid of them but it makes me feel better.

Stick a small piece of tissue in the middle of your forehead,It really works an old midwife showed me this when my son was a new baby 32years ago and i have done it with all of my children..
To get the tissue to stick just lick it..I promise that it will work

Good question! Two thumbs up! I usually just hold my breath. My mother has other good techniques:

= rub the "roof" of your mouth [with your finger or a Q-Tip}
=press your eyeballs in [with a little pressure]

I would usually drink a lot of water. My husband would say to just hold your breath for a minute. Well you can try both and hope it will work.

Hold your breath, drink something but hold it in your mouth when you go upside down, put the back of a spoon on the roof of your mouth, eat peanut butter!

Good luck!

Guzzle a glass of water. As much as you can, as fast as you can until you run out of breath. Works every time.
