The Blue Jays have been upgrading since being very disappointing in 2003 and 2004. The Blue Jays have Roy Halliday and AJ Burnett as the heart of their rotation and Ryan as a solid closer. The Blue Jays came in second last year in the AL East and expect to make a run this year. As do the Red Sox and Yankees. Tough being a Devil Ray or Oriole fan though.

Toronto maybe, but Basically the Yankees and Red Sox are the teams in the AL East, and the RED SOX will win the Division Period.

If i had to checklist them surprising now, i might bypass a million. purple Sox 2. Yankees 3. Rays proper to backside, the Yankees, ON PAPER, are the extra clever rotation purple Sox J. Beckett D. Matsuzaka J. Lester T. Wakefield B. Penny Yankees C. Sabathia A. Burnett C. Wang A. Pettitte J. Chamberlain Rays S. Kazmir J. Shields M. Garza A. Sonnanstine J. Niemann (Jackson is in AAA) I basically placed the Sox earlier than my Yankees using fact they're conflict examined. a annoying annoying team. yet whilst All 3 communities are wholesome and pitch to their mid-selection point, no longer even their suited.. The Yankees are extra clever than the different 2. The Yankees Pitching Is the suited in no longer basically the AL yet All of Baseball, IF IT PITCHES TO ITS ability. Any Rotation that has Andy Pettite as a 4 and Joba Chamberlain as a 5, is sickeningly Deep. yet That stated, the purple Sox have finished it in the previous, so they get my nod, until shown in any different case. Edit: That guy, You cant try this lol.. you cant use "injuries" as a reason or a flaw LOL. using fact noone knows who gets injury and who wont.....thats nuts. For you, Lily and Zambrano and wealthy Harden are constantly injury, does that mean they gets injury this year? thats enjoying psychic.... won't have the ability to try this.. booo booo hissssss undesirable style, baaaddd style! :-)

Toronto could certainly give them a run for the money. They have a good pitching staff and with Frank Thomas added, they could steal the wild card spot from the Yanks or the Red Sox. Baltimore has a subpar team thus far. and then there is the Devil Rays...

Toronto has a chance but no the others. Their pitching staff is probably as good if not better than Yanks and Sox, they also have a decent line up so it will be very interesting in the AL East this year.

based on the improvement of the red sox pitching staff (matsuzaka, and that other japanese guy) and the yankees ability to buy any player that they want (other than Dice-k), none of the other teams even come close. None have a team full of name brand guys like Ortiz, Sheffield, Jeter and ramirez. I have to say NO!!!

the orioles dominated from the late 60's to the late 70's.toronto dominated from about 1988-94 or so.dont feel bad for them.anymore those three teams are victims of cheap owners and bad upper management.toronto and tampa dont have fan support either.

Look out for the Jays. They have the hitting and have a pretty good pitching staff. Halladay is still one of the leagues premier pitchers. They could surprise.
