I use to think that god doesn't give us more than we can handle, but the way of life, most of us learn a way to deal with everything were handed, no matter how hard it is...some of us are stronger than others, and of course there is always an exception to the rules,..but most of us, just do what we have to do...even if it is more than anyone should have to ever deal with.

Remember that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. I remember some really tough times I've dealt with wondering why God would do this to me, I believed it was way too much to handle. But looking back, it made me a stronger person, and made me who I am.
I believe that everything happens for a reason, so God always has something up his sleeve when something happens. If you're a believer, just pray for guidance, courage, and insight.

God says He will not give us more than we can bear. When we feel like we can't handle anymore, God says to turn it over to Him and He will help carry the load!

For the most part I think that most of the mess we get ourselves into has nothing to do with God. We are the ones who made the mess to begin with by making bad or wrong choices. But when a love one dies, now that is something that we don't have control over. Even then, most of us will eventually move on with our lives.

Well, if we got more than we could handle, we wouldn't make it through. Sometimes it does seem like it's way more than we can handle, but somehow we get through it, usually with His help.

I'm not religious, but I believe it is true. Have been through some pretty harsh experiences and it only added to who I am. You just have to know that whatever the obstacle, your will and determination are what is going to see you through. You can be a victim forever or you can discard the mentality and seek ways to overcome and make it through. Hang in there!

People say things like "god doesn't give us more than we can handle" to quantify how bad their situation in life is. it isn't meant to be taken literally.. in fact by the rate of suicides it is proven that god gives us much more than we can handle, and certain folks aren't made to handle more than they can handle for long periods of time.

It seems like that at first, but we always find ways to handle it all so it's true.

No it means you are either...A) taking on too much and not asking for help for God or others...or B) You aren't learning how to handle it.
If he did everything for you then you'd be complaining that you were a puppet...and had no freedom...Make up your mind humans! Jeesh!
