How do I remove the rear brake drums from my Suzuki Ignis.
Once the brake lever is off and cable loosened, I thought the drum should come off reasonably easlily.
Is there anything else I should be doing.?

hi there, by any chance have undone the centre centre hub nut behind a cap in the middle of the drum?

they are probably sticking to the pads, hit the outdoors of the drum each of how around with a mallet, you are able to then use a pair of extensive screwdrivers or pry bars to wedge the drum of slightly at a time from opposite edge of drum. positioned pry bar between rear plate and inner edge of drum to try this. in the past doing this make certain you launch parking brake cable from the element on the returned of drum in case the cable is seized and retaining pads against drum. good success.

you might need to remove the bearing and hub assembly, or failing that, give it a good bashing with a good hammer
