Assistant manager position?

I am concidering taking a job as an assistant manager position at a clothing store. I am curios what kind of pay to expect. I currently make 52k a year, so I know it will be a step down, I am just wondering how far of a step I should expect, and if they ask me to give them a salary requirement what I should give them....

you must really really hate your job to take that much of a paycut- you will make about 25K to 35K a year and be expected to work evenings and weekends and holidays all year long.

Expect around 20-25 thousand a year.
