he fell off a building in 1976 while working for ravenscraig and i would like to find out as much info as possible about his death how would i go about this

Your local paper is the likeliest one to have reported this. Most papers have an archive you can consult, usually on microfiche. They might ask for a fee. My own father was killed in an industrial accident in the early 1950s so I have some idea how you feel. You might also try the trade union newspapers for the period - they might have reported it. Ravenscraig was pretty heavily unionised in 1976. Good luck.

Check the local and state papers. Should be able to get some help at the library. They can show you were to find the papers. If there is a college in the town, the college might have a better collection of papers, maybe not though. Also talk to some family and friends from the period, they might remember something.

go to the library there are news archives ,,the librarian who can help you find the info,if it was in your same area you live in now,if not they would have to send for the info for you ,i think the best way to do it is call first ..not sure if there would be info online from that long ago.but i think the obituary and any news related info would be all in the library information ...good luck sorry for your loss
