Trying to find out (on average) the size of a newborn's foot at birth so that I can purchase the right size Converse All Stars Crib Shoes for the little boy in my belly coming this July!

My son didn't wear the zero's, he went right into a one. But it's okay if they're a little big, and you can always exchange them if they don't fit. Keep receipts! I like Robeez, too. Go look at those online. They're awesome! Thank you for wanting to cover your babies feet! I'm soooo sick of seeing barefooted babies I could scream!!!

Well since every baby is different there is no way to tell you in inches. But personally shoes are a waist for newborns in my opinion they grow out of them like in 2 wks. You could always just get a 0 in size.

Speaking from personal experience, I would just wait until your little bundle of joy arrives. I tried doing the same thing for my son when he was born, and I ended up with 3 pairs of useless shoes because his feet were just too big for the newborn size I had bought.
I know it's so hard to wait, isn't it? I remember going crazy shopping for baby stuff the whole time I was pregnant! Congrats!

Then you purchase size 0. Unless its a really big kid then a size one. My sons foot was just under 3 inchs when he was born. My daughters foot was 1 3/4" but she was a micro premature infant so that wont help you out none. But seriously those shoes are cute but arent needed. I like the Nike ones better :-)

There really isn't an average.

Just buy big, you're only going to put them on for a photo or two. Crib shoes are useless and bad for baby's feet.
