I'm confused. So when did it become okay for white people to cry "discrimination" anytime the goverment gives blacks a break? How come blacks are now "whining" and "living in the past" when we talk about slavery issues and the mis-treatment of our great-grand parents. When did white guys start wearing doo-rags and bumping Tupac in their cadillacs?
Looking back, I wonder how many times Dr.Dre has cursed the day he discovered Eminem?

The point on discrimination is that employment, employment related issues (promotions, raises etc), grants, business, scholarships, etc should be based solely on merit and not on race, religion, or sex.
Sorry your great-grandparent were mistreated, but that sort of thing has gone on for every other race or people throughout history, and is still going on. Learn from the past and work towards the future, but don't blame unrelated problems or ones that you have the means to fix on the past.
As for " wearing doo-rags and bumping Tupac in their Cadillacs", all I can say is that people, of all races, do strange things...

Anyone can cry discrimination. People of either race can think what they want but it is garbage. Every one has opportunity. People are people. Who says a doo-rag is "black" who said listening to rap (which i hate) makes you "black" who says a cadillac is "black"? Black people have organizations and white people have that right to. In America blacks WERE slaves, in other countries white's WERE slaves at one point. What HAPPENED was wrong we all agree on that. To say something is "black" or "white" or to blame ANYTHING on discrimination regardless of your color is RACIST. Italians were slaves at one time, germans. jews, etc. Times have changed and so should Attitudes, judgements, and thoughts. Those who "cry" black, white, discrimination etc are contributing to keeping the problem around longer. Let it go. Preachers, Activists, Organizations who "cry" all the things you ask about.... garbage.

You have been getting "breaks" for so long. It should be on merit. Just the other day my chemistry professor asked who would like to go volunteer at a lab for 10 hours a week. She said it was open to "minorities only" and I quote! I'm sorry!?! Maybe its just me, but do I have to be a "minority" to get ahead in life nowadays?

I don't think that people realize how often white people encounter racism. Slavery really was a terrible thing and it's part of America's history so nobody should expect it to be let go of. But you saying that white people can't listen to certain kinds of music, or dress a certain way, or have a certain career is quite simply racist. In today's society, there are award shows for African Americans and there are television channels strictly for black people. Black people are allowed to say "I'm proud of who I am". But how would people feel if there was "White Entertainment Television" or white award shows, or even if someone said "I'm proud that I'm white"?

Everyone, regardless of their race, reglion, etc., should pull their own weight. Discrimination against anyone is not right...people should be judged on their own merits. There are good and bad of any race or color.
As far as slavery, that was over 150 years ago. It has no bearing on the present or the future. Your great-grandparents are long gone...the time to worry about is the future...YOUR future.

Since when do only Black people receive discrimination? Black people don't all do those stereotypically things so your comment isn't accurate. It's about culture and environment not skin color which is completely different.

Your "break" with the government is racism, cut and dry. Whites (and Asians) have every right to sue. It was the Asians who broke Berkeley's back. Highly unqualified negroids were getting in while whites and Asians were denied even though they got perfect scores on their SAT's. Don't whine 'cultural bias' as that would mean Asians should be scoring low.
As far as whiggerdom; I agree with you. Whites who act like *****'s are beneath contempt and should be enslaved for life.

umm.. most of my hard earned tax dollars go to the majority of black people that don't want to work OR want to go and kill people and flood the prison system.. so i really don't care who wants to act like that
