at 9 weeks the baby must be in what we call "suspended animation" or maybe when you got the ultrasound the baby's heartbeat was out of reach, but talk to your doctor, the one that's treating you and knows you better is the best to answer all your questions, if not, then change your ob/gyn, cuz this one is just taking advantage of your money, it's his job to help you be calm so you'll have a happy pregnancy, and congrats!

Im so sorry hun. I don't want to give you false hope. But this did happen to me and unfortunately the outcome was not good. If the heartbeat were the only issue I would say you still have hope but if the HCG levels drop, that is the last hope. They are supposed to double every couple days. If they don't or they drop then the baby is no longer living. I did not have cramping or bleeding either. This is a missed miscarriage. Most like the doctor will want to do a D and C. I was 9 weeks when I lost mine as well and ask the doc about a Ru148 this is a lot safer and also I got pregnant within 6 weeks of losing mine and Im now 20 weeks. And just so you know nothing is your fault. In this early stage there is a defect and your body is doing what it is supposed to do.

I am so sorry. I know exactly how you feel the same thing happened to me but I was 13 weeks along. I went in for 3D ultrasound and the tech blurted straight out "This baby doesn't have a heartbeat" My husband and I were in complete shock since everything felt normal to me, no spotting or cramps or anything. The only thing that I would say is if they already detected a heartbeat and now there isn't one then there is really not much hope and also your levels are dropping which is not good. I am so sorry I know how devastating this could be, I had two miscarriages and now I may be pregnant and I am terrified. Good luck I hope that all goes well for you because once in awhile miracles do happen.

I would really love to give you some hope, but I would not be giving true advice if I did. Once your HCG levels start decreasing, hte miscarriage has already happened within the body. Even though you may not go through any of the "miscarriage" symptoms yet. miscarriages are VERY common and I have had three in the last 2 years, so I feel your pain. Just remember that there was something wrong with this baby and that is why it didn't make it. When you get pregnant again, it'll be the baby that you were meant to have.

You still have those symptoms because the pregnancy is still continuing. I have no way of knowing if the US was faulty or if your baby has no heartbeat, or if it is just too early to see it beating.
Get some more tests. US misses things sometimes. See if the doctor can find the heartbeat with a Doppler device.
It may just be too early to detect the heartbeat.
Hugs to you. I can't imagine how scary this must be.

Hun it doesn't sound very promising. If the HCG levels drop it results in loss of prgnancy. At least it happened to me. I didn't have cramping and bleeding until I passed the fetus. Didn't you talk to the doc. I would call today and get in. If their is no heartbeat then ask for a dnc don't let them persuade you to pass it natural it is way to painful like giving ture birth. Hang in there.

I'm not sure... what did your doctor say? Did he/she say you're miscarrying? If not, then you shouldn't worry. I hope everything is okay.
