Okay so this is a pretty gross question and a grosser answer. I have been having cervical mucus alot this pregnancy. Mine has been very much like clear snot. Sorry it is so gross but it shouldn't have any harsh odor or funny colors. I have never had it hold its shape though, that might be the mucus plug that seals the uterus of course my mucus has never held its shape (pregnant or not no matter the time of the month).

There are no typical changes of the cervical mucus during pregnancy. It's not possible to know from checking your cervical mucus whether you have become pregnant or not. You still have to wait until after you miss period for that positive pregnancy test.

I really noticed a reduction in cervical mucous overall since I have been pregnant (currently 35 weeks). I used to have kind of a quarter sized liquid-y discharge every day but now nothing much at all but you're right it is more firm. Not by much though.

Cervical Fluid will range in abundance, consistency, color and fertile quality due to the increasing level of estrogen within the first phase of your cycle. Typically the changes in fluid will fall into the following pattern.

"neck") is the lower, narrow portion of the uterus where it joins with the top end of the vagina. It is cylindrical or conical in shape and protrudes through the upper anterior vaginal wall. Approximately half its length is visible with appropriate medical equipment; the remainder lies above the vagina beyond view. It is occasionally called "cervix uteri", or "neck of the uterus".
