Does anyone know of any good stores to buy formal dresses? I've tried David's bridal, anything else like that

Try Windsor (it's online AND in some malls). They have awesome dresses.

Oh, and one last one... this one is awesome... they're a custom gown maker that ONLY takes orders online. They specialize in bridal gowns, but they also take other orders. They're actually making a replica of $6,000 wedding gown for me and only charging me $1,000! Basically all you have to do is send them a picture of what you want, and they can make it for you. :)

Look in the yellow pages.

When I was getting married, I refused to go into David's. I look at OTHER bridal stores and actually found EXACTLY what I was looking for.

Look in the yellow pages for bridal. They tend to work better with you instead of just giving you a dress. They want to make sure you are happy.

Jessica McClintock, Macy's, JC Penny, DEB, Bloomingdales, etc...just depends on whats in your area! I thought Macy's had a lot of great dresses the last time I was in there.

Dillard's has a great selection of formal dresses at reasonable prices. I've purchased all of my formals from there. Good luck!
