If you were taking this seriously, I'd say yes. To ask for God's forgiveness, you have to be repentant for your sins. Right now, from my perspective, I'm not sure you have too much to worry about . . . unless this is your 20th beer or something. Then you'd be abusing the body that God gave you and you would need to ask for forgiveness

There is no doubt about God's forgiveness to those who turn to him with contrite heart. This means when one is truly sorry for his sins and is willing to turn away from them all - and to start anew. A 'beer' in one hand and a 'spliff' in the other would be putting ourselves in great temptation and danger of loosing ourselves to the evil one. On our part, we must not play with 'fire' by indulging ourselves with our sinful habits.

I don't believe he would forgive you for murder or something but smoking drugs and drinking is the modern world! if he didn't forgive us for that then I'm sure hell is full and heaven is empty!
good question and I'm sure this is a good answer!!
xxx
p.s how can you have a beer in one hand and a spliff in another? are you typing with your tongue?

Well the bible is a book of contradictions, so some would say yes others would say no and some people say there are variations on different sins so pardon the pun, but God only knows.

Yes, but true repentance means that you are not going to repeat your actions. In other words you can't decide to do something wrong with the idea that you will just ask God to forgive you later. It doesn't work that way.

Beer and weed alone or together are not sins, only if they are used in excess will your soul be damned to hell unless you repent and ask for forgiveness (assuming of course that you have already professed your belief and love of Jesus.)

Whether there is a god and whether he she or it "forgives" your sins is not nearly as important as whether you forgive your sins.
May I suggest that the measure of your ability to forgive your own sins is the exactly the extent to which you can forgive the sins of others.

Yes. But if you keep sinning he isn't going to keep forgiving you for the rest of your life.
