I believe they are considered to be an alternative rock band. Not 100% sure, but I think so.

It sounds like they want to be where Nickelback or Three Days Grace are with Alternative Hard Rock, but they are a bit below that.
Their single Ladies And Gentlemen for example sounds sharp, but lyrically I'm not sure what it's supposed to represent.
