I know there's a lot of questions or more like statements on Yahoo answers saying American Idol this season suck. I dont follow idol that much. In fact, the only time i watched Idol was the very first season with Kelly Clarkson and i think it was great. But I heard people told me this season is the worst one ever, thus it made me turn on the tv this week and watch the top 12 and boy they are right on the money. Nobody was good. Maybe this one black chick was good but nobody stood out to me. I remember right before the season started, they interviewed Paula and she said this season is going to be the best one yet. I know she's hyping up her product but she is so wrong on that. She should've said this season is the worst one. Heck, i wish they can just canceled the show all together.
The competitors are so bad that I feel embarrassed for them being in front of the audience and sing like that.

I think the winner of this season American Idol will be irrelavent in the music industry like that one black dude that won it couple of years ago. But hey, this is a competition and someboy has to win......unfortunately.

I most certainly agree, in fact I am starting to lose allot of respect for the so called die hard judge Simon. If his personality was truly anything like he portrays on TV he would of even bailed along time ago. My girlfriend who absolutely loved the show and used to force me to watch it with her has not even followed it this year, I think it's about time for the show to end I mean isn't the famous saying "you always want to leave them wanting more" and isn't Idol this doing the exact opposite of that. Please Fox executives save us all and come up with something new, all great shows like this have had to come to an end at one point; star search, bandstand, the gong show, etc..... I think we all agree that it should be Idols turn as well.

I agree, they either need a new show to be the next big thing. I think that American Idol as surpassed is limit. The first few seasons were great, but now its just embarassing.

I dont really watch ai that often but i happen to catch it this year. Okay for all the people who think it sucks this year, in my opinion you wouldnt feel this way if the BLACKS CHICKS (that was stressed 15 times in the question asked) wasnt sweeping the whole show (hehehaha) It dont suck to me, i am happy if any one person life can be changed for the better from this show. GO BLACK CHICKS GO!!! I dont even have to root them on because they are already going! GO BLACK CHICKS GO. Im not prejudice but GO BLACK CHICKS GO!!! Sanjaya wont last we just gotta be patient (remember he was in the bottom three. you who asked this question noooo you suck, If you felt like you could sing you would have your prejudice *** at amer. idol yourself. One thing i can say about the contestants, they are too busy to be on yahoo answers criticizing , unlike yourself so you shouldnt be embarassed for them, you should be embarassed for yourself for not having a life/dream. Sorry but i hate miserable folks. Let somebody be happy for doing something in their life that could be life changing.im happy for anybody who can make it in this complex world.

I don't watch it at all. It's riged. End of story. Period.
Good singers don't even get to try out im front of Randy,Palua, and Simion yet they put people like William Hung through to thise audtions for rateings. Iif they were really looking for an 'American Idol' they wouldn't put in bad singers for rateings.

I love the first season! It's the best of all followed by the 4th season. I don't know whether if this is the worst season yet. I'll wait and see.

I think the whole show Sucks!! I just cannot stand that dude! simon. who do he think he is he can't sing, dance, or tell Jokes, I cannot stand the way he talks. and that other dude Randy he is no Better! the only person who has any real talent is paula abdul now that girl can sing dance. she is the only real person there.

I agree with you. This season isn't very good. There are a few who i like but not very many. They are so bad that I don't even bother voting any more. Thats how sucky it is.

yep it sucks! It's just a popularity contest with the majority of voters being teeny bopper girls voting for pretty boys whether they can sing or not.
