math means the child MUST develop problem solving skill... anything that u can do to make it possible, just DO it...
for example, you can ask the child simple but indirect question involving math... do not solve the homework for the child as this will not help in developing their problem solving skill... and this could harm their performance in exam....

i could certainly help them but not actually do it for them.there is a fine line we should not cross . Anyway my kids used to be much smarter than me so the question is without merit.
