I don't think so. There is a lot of hatred out there, especially after 11 SEP 2001. Fears were played upon and nerves stressed and naturally people might have been thinking to themselves "Damn, we wouldn't have to go through these airport checkpoints if it wasn't for these (cuss words) Muslims!" Resentment and hatred festers in the hearts and unfortunately, some people let their anger get the best of them. Also, because the perception that Muslims didn't speak out against the 911 attacks and non-Muslims were defining what Islam is, this also helped fan the flames of suspicion and hatred. If Muslims in the country FIRMLY stand up for this deen and speak out against ALL crimes of injustice, insha'Allah there will be more understanding. Just look at some of the posts in this atmosphere. There's hatred, but at least it's still "talk" and not violence. Muslims are responsible on how we're perceived.

everywhere u bypass interior the international, despite if it became Saudi Arabia, u will locate people who hate Muslims and people who do no longer. there is possibly a large style of haters in us of a of america and that i'm no longer bowled over. i'm a Muslim myself and because it says interior the Quran "provide your brother seventy seven excuses in the previous blame" (no longer the suitable words however the suitable which ability) If there's a hater, than i do no longer blame him that i do no longer. He might have only mixed with the incorrect Muslim or as i understand, the media in us of a of america is amazingly reliable (No offense to any American) and people are effected via it, if there is fake contradictions than it is barely conceitedness that desires mending.
