Yes I understand, that's why I never talk just to say nothing. If you wanted to have a debat, you should have ask a better question than this one, because there is not much we can say about that subject. This kind of question is good if you have the person in front of you, so you can argue and talk together. But I hope you would find this "discussing" enough!

Yes, Discussions are throwing in opinions/facts and playing
table tennis back and forth with them making for interesting
or annoying conversation. Talking about something doesn't
necessarily mean that a discussion is needed or desired.
(i.e., going to lunch now, or gotta go to the can, or my b/f or
g/f has the manners of a hog at the trough etc)

Well, I guess it's just a matter of being able to talk without actually discussing it and getting a point across.
I am old enough and educated enough to do a lot of creative writing, but there is no way I know to talk about something without discussing it.
Again, there must be a pretty faint line for us to watch out for to keep from stepping over, so we aren't "discussing" anything.
