First of all it makes no sense to blame an unborn child for a sin yet to be committed. The whole concept of this pushes the issue of biblical morality so far out orbit. Are these people even aware of how ignorant they sound? Are these the sort of people you advocate as moral leaders? Robertson and Limbaugh and Coulter and Phelps, this guy and so many more, what good are they?

A Christian who is accepting some scientific evidence! That, first of all is refreshing! That being said, he then goes into the beliefs that it SHOULD be changed. That just goes to show you something that I believe, that people armed with SOME knowledge can be worse than people with none! At least they can claim ignorance!

As for the other people, no, I don't believe that they think they sound ignorant at all. For the most part, I think they BELIEVE what they say 100%! The problem I have is why the average joe doesn't seem to realize how ludicrous these things sound. In order for things to get better, THOSE are the people we need to convince.

If they were true Christians then they'd be for loving their neighbors as themselves (and we can see from their behaviors how much they love themselves) They won't change, my Darling, which is unfortunate for us. With Bush quietly firing good federal judges and replacing them with his rightwingers and us hip deep in a war we never wanted in the first place I'm becoming more and more saddened at my country being the Evil Empire...or turning into something out of "the Handmaid's Tale"

All we can do is what have always done. Live our lives un-apologetically and without fear. As Gandhi showed us, when we stand as one and not as a mob, those who would trample us discover their own inequities. Let them continue their foolishness, as they die out, younger, more enlightened minds will come to the fore. You must remember, it's only been about 30years (approx. 1 generation) since we began to see real change......patience is our virtue and our strength.
