The amount of snow depends on the exact track of the storm as it moves up the eastern seaboard. If it stays offshore we will stay in the cold air and snow will be the primary form of precipitation. However if the storm moves inland it will draw milder air from off the ocean and we will encounter a mixed bag of snow, sleet, freezing rain, and plain rain. If it remains all snow then accumulations will easily be 8-16", if it is a mixed bag then 1-5" of sleet, snow, and ice will fall.
