Backup ur data on other drives. Delete the partition by gng to Computer management option and then create new partition using NTFS

first of all it is in many methods to convert the partition.
1)by dos mode by dm and dm/x.then the harddisk is seagate then the disk manager will open the set the advance manager then set the partition four or one or your choose.then set how many you want partiton then it ask in NTFS or FAT 32 the you should select the partition.
2)in mycomputer select theright click then format in FAT 32

If you are running windows XP, Go to Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt (or, from a Run box, type CMD) and, assuming you intend to convert C:,
Type vol c:
Then type convert c:/fs:ntfs

If it is new hdd then at the time of instalation it ask you to format the hdd in fat or ntfs of if you partion and then now if you want to convert then type this command it help you.CONVERT C: /FS:NTFS

The convert answer is the correct one. Reformatting is not necessary. Do it from the DOS prompt.

you can use CONVERT C: /FS:NTFS

you dont have to reformat or anything, you can do it anytime on any hard disk..... all the best.
