I personally think that the Revolution made America, and that the civil war defined America.

In my opinion, the French & Indian war laid the groundwork for America to emerge... I would call it the war that "opened the doors" for America.

yes. after the war the americans/british colonists were restricted from settling beyond the appalachian mountains as an agreement to the native americans and the french trappers who populated the region east of the mountain range. and as the colonies became more and more eager to expand, they came to resent englands "dont go there" policy. this was probably the first point at which the colonists began to disagree with being told what to do by someone so far away.

I can see your knowledge of geography is not so good,if you mean the American continent, the French or Indian wars had no relevance in the making of it since it has been there from the beginning. If you mean the united states of America i would say it was the war of independence because it was the start of the formation of the country that is now known as the USA,before that as you should know it was part of the British empire

Yes it does deserve this name. The events leading to the American Revolution really begin with the conclusion of that war and the elimination of the French threat -- at that point why do you need the British?

From whose point of view do you mean "made America"? If you are talking about the colonists' point of view maybe yes. If you are talking about the Native Americans' point of view I don't think so.
